GUWEM 2026 – Guided Ultrasonic Waves: Emerging Methods
The second edition of the GUWEM Workshop – Guided Ultrasonic Waves: Emerging Methods will take place from 29 June to 2 July 2026 at the exceptional venue of Mont Sainte-Odile (France).
GUWEM 2026 will bring together the European community working on guided ultrasonic waves, wave propagation, elastodynamics, nondestructive evaluation, structural health monitoring, material characterization, and microelectronics.
The workshop aims to foster scientific exchange between researchers developing emerging theoretical, numerical, and experimental approaches for elastic guided waves in complex structures and materials.
The workshop is organized by the Institut Langevin (CNRS, ESPCI Paris, PSL) and the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM, Germany), with support from the European Acoustics Association (EAA) and endorsements from the Société Française d’Acoustique (SFA) and DEGA.
